ABOUT ME

Hey there!

 

I am your Coach Sonakshi aka Fit Naari (Instagram : @fitnaari.india) and I am excited to have you even looking
at a fitness related website. Because, that itself means that you care about your health and are probably looking
for a change.

 

A little backstory about me :
I belong to the 'Steel City of India' - Jamshedpur and had been there for a substantial and worthwhile part of my life. Later, my higher education and jobs made me travel places and currently I am settled in Bengaluru.

 

Now, I had always been into Fitness and Sports, but then an IT job happened and fitness took a backseat. Ghar ka khaana was replaced by KFC/Dominos and walks were replaced by long hours of doing nothing.

 

The result! I had a severe Arthritis attack back in 2014, when I had to prepare myself for 5 mins before setting my foot down from the bed. The girl who ran hurdles and played football in school had reached such a point!

 

So, just like you, this girl decided to take things in her hands. And, I was able to transform myself - 9 kgs and quite a few inches down, I was back to my fit self through the knowledge I gained.

 

I have completed my Diploma certification in Fitness and Nutrition. I am also certified in a valuable course on Stress and Emotional Eating. I also have 5 years of experience in on floor Strength Training and currently pursuing another certification in Biomechanics. I am constantly learning and evolving because one can never know enough in this field..

 

And, today, I want to be your guiding hand to help you transform while educating you about the basics and busting prevalent myths. With this basic skill, you would be able to make Fitness a lifestyle. Because, that's what it should be - a lifestyle that is also sustainable.
